Located on Marrowstone Island, Fort Flagler State Park.
This cache was placed by the Rockfolk in January 2004 as a special cache with little rock-filled eggs for kids. Local kids as well as kids staying in the camp ground have immensely enjoyed these little gifts.
Unfortunately, the Rockfolk have left us for Tennessee, and this resource for petrified wood and polished quartz and carnelian is no longer being replenished. As I'm rewriting the cache page, only one treasure egg is left, and that one will be gone soon as well.
It's time to close this chapter, and thank Rockman for the effort he put into it.
I hope this cache will stay with us as an ordinary trading cache. I'd like to designate this cache from now on as a resource for campground users. Please leave here items you don't intend to carry home, which might be useful for future campers. And especially now, as this big container is almost empty, please trade up!
Go to the coordinates, and face the woods. From here, you will need to walk 25 to 30 big steps straight into the woods. After signing the log, be certain to hide the cache just as you found it.
If you see some litter and it’s not dangerous to pick up, grab it and place it in a nearby trashcan. Please be friendly to all plants and animals you may see while looking for this cache. Many of the plants you step on may be homes for small animals and insects.
