Geocache Description:

Portway cache is in Pamber Forest near Tadley in Hampshire.

The cache is hidden on the route of Portway, an old Roman road that ran from Old Sarum (where there is also a cache) to Calleva Atrebatum (where there are two more caches).

There is a free park at N 51 21.117 W 001 07.379, but it is very muddy in the winter so try N 51 21.162 W 001 07.305 where there is limited parking. The hiding place is near a footpath which gets muddy in places in wet weather so take some wellies.

The cache is a small ammo box containing the usual goodies.
