THANK A PATRIOT. In the current state of world unrest, we look for a heros, a patriots, to give us hope for the future. This cache is a tribute to all of our past, current and future patriots who have given, who continue to give or will give of themselves in the quest for freedom. I know some who have been and come home, one who has just left, and have even known one who gave the greatest sacrifice for this quest and has come home for the last time.
As you drive on this section of Joe Prather Highway, aka 313, between US 31W and I-65, you will pass through part Fort Knox military installation on the way. Thousands of patriots have been or will be trained there. The cache is located along this highway. If you have not hunted them, then please try “Man Can Move Mountains” (GCG7DM) and “Gems Of The Bypass” (GCFED6).
When you arrive at the cache location, you may see a reason for the cache name. Please replace the cache exactly as you found it. It is a micro so there is no pen or pencil, so you will need to provide your own.
This cache was created, hidden and is maintained by a member of the Heartland Geocachers, GEOCKY, INKY and MAGC.
