City park near Belle Cooledge Library
The Belle Cooledge Community Library opened for business near this
location in 1992. The original location was at 5581 Freeport Blvd,
which was first established in 1958. The library's collection
numbers 90,000 items and has 13 internet terminals for public use.
A highlight is the annual book sale, which occurs every September.
The library is part of a family-oriented complex that includes a
children's park/playground, a community center and an off-leash dog
park.
