This geocache, The King of Town’s cache, is #9 in a series of caches called the Homestar Runner Geocache Series. There are 10 geocaches placed around the SF Bay Area for each character in the Homestar Runner cartoon, and each of these caches contains one number for the coordinates for the last and final grand finale geocache, Homestar Runner (GCKEX7).
As said above, the posted cache coordinates are not the coordinates for the cache. They correspond to a near by parking area for the cache. The actual cache coordinates for The King of Town’s Cache are

You are probably thinking “Hey, wait a minute!?! These aren’t coordinates!” You’re partially right. To find out the actual cache coordinates for The King of Town’s cache, you must watch the cartoons listed below at www.homestarrunner.com, and answer the following posted questions about each of the cartoons and the character The King of Town. By watching the cartoons and answering these questions, you can substitute the corresponding numbers with the letters in the answers into the above coordinates and find the cache! Once you have found the cache, remember to write down the single coordinate number that you find inside the log book for the grand finale Homestar Runner cache. By visiting all the Homestar Runner caches in the Bay Area and collecting the numbers inside the caches, you can put all the numbers together to find Homestar Runner.
In the Homestar Runner cartoons, The King of Town rules the land and watches over his sheep. He loves to eat everything in sight and we felt that this well known burger joint was a fitting place for the King’s cache ( and probably a place the King would love to eat at as well!). The cache is a camoflauged container. Inside the cache, you will find a log book with a number for the Homestar Runner cache. As always, use caution when searching for the cache, as this can be a busy place during lunch and dinner time. Now on to the questions!
Go to the main page at www.homestarrunner.com. On the left hand side of the page, you will see a variety of different icons. These are the icons that you will click on to get the the various cartoons/games. Follow the directions on how to get to each cartoon, watch the cartoon, and answer the following questions about The King of Town.
Click on the “Characters” icon and then click on the “The King of Town Video”.
1. In his character video, the King eats a bowl of ________ ______. ( There are two words. In the first word, the first letter corresponds to the number 4. In the second word, the first letter corresponds to the number 0 and the second letter corresponds to the number 1.)
Click on the “Toons” icon, click on “Toons”, then click on “The King of Town”
2. Who ate the King’s sheep? The _____. (There is one word. The first letter corresponds to the number 7 and the second letter corresponds to the number 3.)
