Geocache Description:

Palisades Trail. Exit the 118 FWY at Tampa Ave and head north to the Palisades Trailhead on Tampa Ave. Park on Tampa Ave at N34° 17.527 W118° 33.333. The Palisades Trail crosses Reseda Blvd at N34° 17.218 W118° 32.234.

DO NOT ATTEMPT TO SCALE DOWN THE PALISADES FROM PASISADES PARK.

The curvy Palisades Trail winds in and out of looming palisades stretching from Tampa Ave to Reseda Blvd. Walk past scenic pine groves on a gradual easy slope from Tampa Avenue or take the shorter but more strenuous approach from Reseda Boulevard.

The cache, a camo'd Rubbermaid tub stuffed with kitty toys, is also stocked with a log book, pen, pencil and pencil sharpener. Besides all the kitty toys, the original contents also include one Where's George dollar bill.

The overall difficulty rating of 2.5 is due to jumpy signal reception under the palisades.
