Not quite as strenuous as some of our other East Texas trail caches, but enjoyable nonetheless!
Louisiana-Pacific's Dogwood Nature Trail features many of the trees that make the Big Thicket famous: longleaf pine, oak, magnolia, beech, dogwood, black cherry, sassafras, and others. Quaint wooden bridges span the sandy creeks; red, white, and blue blazes mark the distinct trails. Plan on following the longest of the three, less than one mile roundtrip.
