The cache is an ammo can located in the US Forestry Service Long Pool Area. If you don't wish to pay a $3 fee to park in the Rec Area. You can park along the road at N 35 32.783 W 93.09.593.
Depending on where you park it will be about a 1.5 mi RT hike. Most of this hike is on a wide trail. The trail head is located at N 35 32.962 W93 09.512.
The Waterfall has an approximate 45 foot drop and you will also pass another smaller, but beautiful 12' fall on your way to the cache.
The area has a wonderful swimming, picnic, and camping area with great scenery be sure to bring a lunch and swimsuit depending on the time of the year and weather or just relax and look and listen to the babbling water.
The cache initial contents are: Kazoos, digital watches, matchbox cars, Smiley face stickers.
