Near the point where Gar Creek meets the Arkansas River.
Cache is a standard Tuppermaid container painted OD green. Expect to walk over half a mile, and battle quite a bit of brush. Please do not drive along the dike or through the field. Permission obtained based on cachers walking along the dike only. Approach from the east, park at the end of that road only.
There is a very large population of wild turkeys here, I counted 60 to 70 of them when I placed the cache. Also lots of deer, geese, ducks, red-tailed hawks, and the occasional beaver and bald eagle, so bring a camera for some nice wildlife shots.
Please respect the land and the cache. Rehide better than you find it.
Original contents include emergency blanket, gold keyring, smiley face keyring, TB info tag laminating kit, log book and pencil.
Not at all a good cache for wheelchairs or bicycles. Please, no motor vehicles past the end of the road.
