Located at the Daniel Boone Homestead. Park in one of the regular maintained parking areas and head out to the cache. You will want to budget enough time to visit the historical part of the park after finding the cache. Visit only when the park is open to the public. Please note that the park closes at 5:00PM. The soil at Daniel Boone tends to remain wet and slippery long after a rain so go prepared to get a bit muddy. The cache is high and dry, but there may be wet spots along the way. The container is a large pill bottle containing a a few trinkets and a smaller pill bottle for the log. Please think through the retrieval process so it can be replaced as you found it. This area has all kinds of wildlife including skunks, spiders, ticks, and other creepy crawlies.
