Its nestled in a small wooded area, but only about 50 feet through and easy walking, even for children.
This is part of the GeoPokerRun.
This school was the main school for everyone in the Delphi area about 60 years ago. My grandmother went to this school while her father worked as a logger in the Capital Forest.
They would walk the three miles from their small home (uphill both ways I have been assured) and attended school during the winter months. School was only about six months out of the year at the time, when they could actually find someone to teach at all. Several grades in one small classroom. Some things actually do not get better with time.
The grounds around the school are kept in great shape and it is a nice little place. Parking is just off the road, and not much of it, so please be careful.
