Come help us find some left over Easter Eggs. This event is a combination between a Road-Rally, a Photo-Shoot and an Easter Egg Hunt.

Here are the event Rules and Guidelines. Paper copies will be furnished on the event day.

Teams: Create your own Team. Each team must have at least 2 people, but can be as big as you want. However, teams can't divide up, and need to stay together on the hunt as a team. Please post a note on the page if you plan on playing, so we can have an idea how many teams we will have.

Equipment: Each team will need to provide their own digital or Polaroid camera. At 11:30 each team must report back to the event coordinates and be able to display the pictures they have taken of the "Easter Egg" locations.
To display the pictures you can use what ever you'd like:
   - We can just use your viewfinder on the back of your camera.
   - You can have them developed at a 1 hour photo shop (actually there is one close by that will do digital pictures in 15 minutes.)
   - You can bring your own laptop and printer.
You just have to allow the judges to see your pictures.

Prizes: Yes, there will be prizes awarded, but they will be acquired in the True Cacher tradition - "exchange". Each team member is asked to bring a prize to donate to the event in exchange for another prize. The top team will get first picks, second team next picks, and so on.

The Hunt:
1. Teams can register between 8:00 am and 8:30 am.
2. At 8:30 each team will be given "an Easter Token" and a packet with a given set of coordinates and puzzles to solve.
3. Each team then has 3 hours to find as many of the "Easter Egg" locations as possible. Each location will be worth "finders" points.
4. Once you identify a location, you need to take a picture with at least 1 member of your team (that's why you have to have at least 2 people) holding the "Easter token" in front of the location, so that the team member, the token and the location are all visible in the picture.
5. Each location will also have 1 hidden Easter Egg worth extra points. The first team to each location will have the best chance to find that Egg. (If you find that egg, it must also be in your Location picture, and you need to bring it back with you.)
6. There will be other tasks that can be completed for additional points.
7. At 11:30 all team photos will be reviewed and a winning team announced. (In case of a tie, the first team to return will be the winner.)

Location Note: the "Easter Egg" locations will be unique enough that Utah County Geocachers should have no more advantage then anyone else. Additionally everyone will have to figure out the puzzles, which will also not reference anything that would give a Utah Valley Geocacher an advantage.

I originally got this idea from 4 corners Turkey Hunt but like all good caches, it has been changed and adapted a little from theirs.

Please post a note on the page if you plan on playing, so we can have an idea how many teams we will have.
