Geocache Description:

I found this area while exploring after finding Mossy Oak. I was going tell about it in my log... Then you MIGHT visit it. But if I just put a cache there.... Then you WILL visit it.

Just a little way inside the vehicle gate, there are a couple of old mining holes. They are big enough to admit entry. If you do decide to explore the holes, keep a few things in mind. Besides your basic Spelunking Precautions (you better research that one!!!!!) you should be aware that these holes may be a popular hiding place for four legged mammals. Also, due to the fact that they are about 4 miles from the international border, they may provide shelter to the two legged northbound variety. Whether you choose to explore the mines or not, you will find a nice stash of goodies nearby. The rock walls in the area had my GPSr jumping around a bit, so I will included a spoiler photo (soon), but I really don't think it is that hard.
