Geocache Description:

Take the Johnson Motorway Trail (exit from the 118 FWY at Topanga Blvd, park at the end of Poema Pl. and follow the green stripe from the guard shack to the Johnson trailhead at N34° 17.145 W118° 36.871) or take the Rocky Peak Fire Rd (exit 118 FWY at Rocky Peak Rd).

A dark green Rubbermaid container has been hidden at a place where the Johnson Motorway meets the Rocky Peak Fire Rd; they are like two old friends, hence the name, "Dos Amigos". If you choose to hike up the Johnson Trail, be sure to stop off at the Johnson's Gate cache. Several more caches can be found on Rocky Peak Fire Rd which is also accessible from the 118 FWY, Hummingbird Trail, Chumash Trail and Las Llejas Canyon Rd.

The cache is stocked with a log book, pen, pencil and pencil sharpener. The original trade items include a Collector's Edition Corvette, a Collector's Edition Porsche, a whistle with compass, thermometer & magnifying glass, 2 packs of erasers, a Where's George dollar and two travel bugs: DataSafety's Dopey Travel Bug by DATASAFETY and Mister Whistle by tom4props.

Where sturdy shoes and carry water. Mountain bikes and dogs welcome!
