Geocache Description:

Rocky Peak Fire Road. Start your hike from the Rocky Peak Trailhead (exit the 118 FWY at Rocky Peak Rd) or from the Hummingbird Trailhead (N 34° 16.759 W 118° 39.558, exit the 118 FWY at Kuehner Dr)

The cache is located in a shady spot on the side of Rocky Peak Fire Road, providing the geocaching hiker with a welcome opportunity to take a few minutes respite away from the beating rays of the sun before continuing up to Rocky Peak. The peak, which is only 0.4 miles away at an elivation gain of 500 feet, is home to the Vertigo Peak cache and nearby Crow's Lookout -aka- Build-a-Cache.

The cache is stocked with a log sheet and pencil, and has room for very small trade items. When placed, the cache had a Where's George dollar.
