This cache is located in a Knoxville Park, 0.7 miles from the parking area. The cache is a regular size ammo box. As the name implies, the cache is located just off trail near a Mtn. Bike technical section of trail.
The cache is hidden in an area of the Park that has an abundance of trails that wonder over wooded hills with some near Ft. Loudon Lake. Mountain Bikers as well as hikers use these trails and can be quite active in the warmer months.

Just inside the gate at the trailhead is a nice map of the Sinking Creek Trail system.
This is typical East Tennessee woods, so wear the proper clothes and shoes for the occasion, it can be a little muddy.
It’s a short walk if you arrive by boat…..hint hint.
