Geocache Description:

This cache is located in Meeting House Park in the town of Farmington. The park is on the northwest corner of the intersection of County Road 28 and Shortsville Road.

Meeting House Park is a very small town park. It has a nice stand of tall pine trees, a picnic table, and an upright stone marker. The park is CLOSED from 10pm to 6am.

The cache container is fairly small, so only the very tiniest of trade items might fit. It has started out with a log book, pencil, and a couple of very tiny trade items. I even managed to cram in a little token for the first-to-find. PLEASE re-pack the cache carefully as it's a tight fit.

Here is some historical information on the park:

The park was turned over to the town on July 4, 1976 as a part of the 1976 national bicentennial observation. The stone marker was originally located three miles north of its present location in the park. In 1928 it was moved to the present location by the Herendeen Association and a plaque was added. The grove of evergreen trees was also planted at that time.
