Sheldon Clan: It is in fact MIA. Maybe we can replace it with something else, less conspicuous.

Geocache Description:

Located along a recreation trail

The cache is located off the Missisquoi Valley Rail Trail in a small, olive drab ammo can and contains a variety of small camping and hiking items. In winter, be watchful for snow mobiles as you walk the trail. We assigned a terrain rating of 1.5 because it’s difficult to judge the depth of the snow and what’s beneath it in spots.

There are three parking areas within easy walking distance of the cache.

The cache was placed for Molly the Travel Dog to continue her journey. Molly originally joined us on the Outer Banks of North Carolina and asked to come north to see the snow and New England. The last few weeks however have been enough for Molly – when she noticed that the thermometer had dropped to –23 she said it was time to think of warmer climes. The temperature has risen to 3 so we are starting her back on her journey. Molly is on a trip to visit all “Molly” caches and when we met her, she was trying to reach Molly’s Little Secret in Chesapeake, Virginia (temporarily disabled). While waiting for that cache to be reestablished, recommended destinations along the way would be the Hello Molly cache in VT and/or Molly’s View of the Sound on Long Island, NY.
