It is located on Corp of Engineers forest land west of Saylorville Lake. The most logical parking is in the Lakeview Recreation Area (N 41 42.512, W 093 42.285). The entrance is off NW Beaver about half a mile NW of Camp Dodge. This parking only works when the area is open; if closed, park at the gate (N 41 42.562, W 093 42.727). The terrain is hilly and steep in places. Come prepared to do some work. There is remnants of an old trail (it was pretty much washed out in low places when Saylorville flooded a couple times) you can follow for a ways. The cache is a full size ammo can containing many pieces of jewelry donated by my wife. I placed it in an area of lesser tree cover hoping the satellite signals can get through during the summer. The cache is well hidden, but in a commonly used place.
