Team Nirvana: Checked on this cache yesterday, Muggles have taken it again. This is the 4th MIA for this cache so we have decided to retire it permanently. Sorry folks.

This is a nice spot to see the views of Bangor and east. The view is better when the leaves are off the trees. Nearby is the old city orphanage - now Hilltop Daycare, and the Bangor Watertower.
Enjoy the views of Bangor. As of August 15, 2004, We have relocated the cache due to too much muggle activity. Locate the birdbath. Find the year it was erected and add the last two digits in the year together, then subtract that amount from the last digit on the original latitude (N) coordinate. To recalculate the longitude (W); add together the outside height of the water tower, plus the outside diameter of the water tower, plus the of the width of promenade deck at the top of the tower. Subtract that figure from the last three digits of the original longitude coordinate. The new coordinates should put you at a very small parking area near the Kenduskeag Stream. It would be the location that the tower would end up if it rolled down hill. We hope this is a more secluded area. The cache is an ammo box. Watch out for muggles.
