Geocache Description:

Located in the Flatwoods park closest to the Bruce B. Downs entrance. Terrain is paved for about the first 1/2 then becomes a well defined hard packed bike and hiking trail. Probably not stroller friendly and definitely not at the end. You should not have to bushwhack until you are within about 5 feet of the cache and even then its not much. Total round trip to & from the cache is close to five miles.

This is my first hide and is located on one of my favorite trails in the Flatwoods park. The trail winds around a large open marsh area. There are a lot of birds and I also saw some deer sign around the area of the cache. The first stage is a micro that contains only the coordinates to the final cache. It should be an easy find and is mainly there to be sure that you are on the right track since following the final coordinates from the starting point using the GPS alone could lead you the wrong way. The final cache is a Mason jar and contains a logbook & pen, the Grogg and Gaspar Jr. TB's as well as some assorted small outdoor themed stuff like mini caribiners. Enjoy!
