Geocache Description:

This cache was originally placed by whitepks. Due to heavy muggle activity, it has been lost twice. Maybe we’ll do better this time in a new hide! You will need to read the monument plaque to get information to find the cache.

The Distinguished Flying Cross Monument is a recent addition to sites honoring famous aviators. Waypoint above will take you to this monument. See code below for finding cache location within a short walk away from the monument.

The DFC medal is awarded for acts of heroism accomplished in aerial flight. This monument was donated by the Distinguished Flying Cross Society of Capistrano Beach, CA (Now in San Diego).

This is a wonderful, scenic park, but a busy place, especially at sunset. In fact, you may meet some of the people responsible for the DFC memorial, and they will likely be walking their dogs.

Look carefully, and replace with care and discretion…muggles may be lurking about. In fact, the original Flyin’ High was muggled more than twice. If you want to trade, bring something tiny.

A Sunset to Behold! Bring your camera.
