Geocache Description:

This cache is accessed from the North Central Rail Road (NCRR) Trail. The trail is passes through Marylands' horse country and is popular with bikers, joggers, equestrians, bird watchers and strollers. It is intentionally placed a distance from access points to encourage finders to take a short hike or bike trip. The serene scenery is wonderful and changes throughout the year.

The cache is a medium Glad container, with a blue lid. Hopefully, it will stay dry inside. It started off with a log book, a mini yo-yo and a couple other childrens items but is large enough for some reasonable items.

The trail is crushed gravel perfect for hiking or biking but not so for rollerblading. Do not try to access the cache via Hester Field Ct-it is private property, no access to the trail and on the wrong side of the river. Glencoe Road is the closest access and has a parking lot.

The NCRR Trail starts in Hunt Valley, MD and now goes to York, PA and beyond. One can even take their bike on the nearby Light Rail in Hunt Valley and take it down to the BWI area and join up with the trails down there including the Patapsco Valley Park and the B&A trail to Annapolis.

Please be discrete about hunting for and replacing the cache since the trail can be busy at times. Bring along a picnic lunch to enjoy at the bench just north of the cache.

While in the area visit the I-83 Travel Lodge cache about 5 miles north of this cache.
