Geocache Description:

This is a two stage multi-cache located on Oswestry's Old Racecourse. Fairly gentle terrain at an altitude of ~1020'. There is a car park at N 52 51.984 W 003 06.131 with picnic tables and an information board. From here the caches are an easy walk. For a nice brief description of the Racecourse itself refer to Budak's 'A Little Offa Course' cache description. Combining his cache with this one Offa's an opportunity to explore the whole racecourse.

The coordinates shown point to the first cache which is a small black film container which contains the coordinates and encrypted clue (usual cryptogram) for the main cache. This is a medium sized tupperware box.The initial contents include a calculator, a pair of new socks, Saudi Arabian banknote, Iranian coins and lots of other assorted items. The usual log book with pencil, pen and pencil sharpener is also included. (please leave the pencil sharpener for others to use when necessary). This is a popular spot for dog walkers and occasionally horse riders so watch out for muggles. The clue below is for the first cache.
