Geocache Description:

The start and finish of this trek has a bathroom and water, but you'll want to bring extra water along for the hike.
NOTE: Please remember the position of the cache and return it as close as possible. Oh, and be discrete...

Jerabek Loop
This trek begins at the Jerabek Park parking lot, convenient for those who drive here. Jerabek is a good-sized neighborhood park. There are tennis courts here, a couple baseball diamonds, room for at least two soccer games at once which were taking place the day I set this cache. And it appears to be well-maintained.

The second waypoint is calculated using the 10-digit telephone number on a nearby sign (FOR ADDITIONAL INFORMATION).

(NOTE: Record all clue values as they may be used in later calculations.)
A = 2nd Digit
B = 5th Digit
C = 8th Digit + 1
D = 4th Digit - 5th Digit
E = 6th Digit
F = 4th Digit - 1
G = 9th Digit - 1
N 32° 54.GFE
W 117° 04.9CE
You can either bike or walk this route. It is not TOOO far to walk, perhaps a couple miles. I biked it and had to push my bike up a couple steep grades. So choose your poison. But to get to the next WP, go past the stairs by the first baseball diamond and head over by the scoreboard in the outfield.

The three-foot post at this waypoint has two two-digit numbers on it to be used in generating the next waypoint.
HI = the two-digit number closer to the top of the post
JK = the two-digit number closer to the bottom
N 32° 54.8K0
W 117° 04.KDA
These waypoints are set up to follow the trails so that there is little or no bushwhacking needed. I try to limit damage to the environment as much as I can. There is a two-digit number on a 5 foot post to be used for the next waypoint.
LM = the two-digit number on the "HIKING TRAIL" post N 32° 54.MED
W 117° 05.DBK
This stretch of the route runs along the street before turning back into the park. At this waypoint, you'll find a 6+ foot post with another two-digit number on it.
NP = the two-digit number on the "HIKING TRAIL" post N 32° 54.6N(C-1)
W 117° 05.1E0
As you traverse this section of the route, look out across the canyon. For a little back trail area, there are some nice canyon and distance views before heading back into the woods.

This next waypoint stops at a final three-foot post with two numbers that will help pinpoint the cache. This post has been uprooted, but it should be lying there for your use.
QR = the two-digit number closer to the top of the post
ST = the two-digit number closer to the bottom
U = R + T
N 32° 54.6ST
W 117° 05.0UD
When you get to the bridge, cross over and take a left (trust me on this). The cache, which is a PB jar in a SPOR with a board over it, is located about 15 feet off the trail. It will be obvious which way. No real bushwhacking involved, but the cache may be a little tricky to find.

If you are turned around when you've finished, you can return to the Jerabek Park parking lot by steering toward the following coordinates.

N 32° 54.6RR
W 117° 05.0DI
Then head downhill where the lot will become visible. Good luck!

IMPORTANT NOTE: You will find a cryptic note at the bottom of the inside front cover of the log books at each of these related caches. Record these notes as well as the cache coordinates (NOT the coordinates posted on the web page) then refer to the cache A True Multi-Cache in Scripps Ranchfor instructions on what to do with these cryptic notes and coordinates.
