Enjoy a loop walk around Kensington
Gardens. If you begin at the Lancaster Gate tube station,
the walk will take you about 2 miles and maybe 90 minutes as you
search for the 6 caches and enjoy the views. Posted hours for the
park are 6 am to dusk all year round. The park is lush with flowers
right now, and the large green open spaces give it a sense of
peacefulness. Dozens of park benches line the walkways for a quick
lunch or a lingering visit with a good novel. The Long Water is
filled with birds at this time in the season (February), and offers
many opportunities for photography or bird
feeding.
Kensington Gardens #4 will be found at the
coordinates above, which is near the Queens' Temple, sadly in need
of repair, but still standing nonetheless.
You will need to leave the pathway to
retrieve or replace the cache. The cache contains a log only, so
please bring your own pen or pencil. When replacing the log, make
sure it is protected from view just as you found it.
