From millions of kilometres away, robotic explorers send
information on a tiny microwave signal to scientists on Earth. But
how do you detect a signal billions of times weaker than the power
you use to light up your fridge? Answer: you need really big
ears.
This site is one of only three around the world - well the
Europeans and Russians have their own. But it is remarkable to
think that one of these is in Australia, and close to the
capital.
After finding the cache, take an hour or more to admire the
