No, the cache is not located in a paw paw patch but there is one nearby!
For the best hike, park at the Maple Grove parking lot and start off on the White Oak trail. Enjoy the view of Big Creek from atop the ridge. Big Creek is part of the Grand River watershed, one of the 4 watersheds in Geauga County.
The final part of your hike will follow the Buckeye Trail where you will cross a foot bridge over Jenks Creek which flows into Big Creek. Look for the "blue blazes" on the trees.
Inside the cache container you will find a "code word". After you log your find, email this code word to the cache owner and you will receive an image file of the Certificate of Discovery. You can print out the certificate as a souvenir of your visit to the Paw Paw Patch Cache.

The Paw Paw has been called the "Indiana Banana" because the fruit resembles a banana in appearance!
Placed with permission of the Geauga Park District.
