Located at 17 Palms in Anza-Borrego Desert, just a short distance from your car.
Durt (Curt), C22, and I were camping in the 17 Palms area and though we'd hide a geocache nearby, especially after reading the Park Service sign explaining what a Prospector's Post Office was. You'll have to read all about it yourself, once you get to the parking area. We weren't planning on hiding any caches on this trip, so we had to improvise a container. We ended up using a quart mayonnaise jar, which keeps with the post office theme. So, please be careful and don't drop it!
