the federation: after reteiving the precious travel bug from this cache I am afraid I no ;longer want to return to this area for fear of running into shmeegle again. I found him creeping and slithering around trying to find the precious here. To protect other cachers from a similar fight I am archiving this cache.

Geocache Description:

Geocachers are seeking a typical 50mm ammo can. Full of travel bugs.

So few people get out to this area to see the full range and scope of the Rodman Dam Area and it's surruonding territory that I have added this last cache to the Adventure Series. You do not have to log this cache but it is a nice diversion while you are here. The cache site overlooks H.H.Buckman Locks along the Cross Florida Barge Canal. If you would like more info on lock operations and history of the area you can visit the nearby visitor center for The Majorie Harris Carr Greenways across the canal. Please exchange tbugs as you see fit bu if you take one please try to leave one. Take the equestrian trail for a short hike to the top of the overlook and then follow your gps to the cache
