Geocache Description:

Although it sounds like it, this cache has nothing to do with Baseball. The word “pitch”
As it is used here is in reference to mountain climbing.
THIS IS NOT A CLIMBERS ONLY CACHE.
The cache is hidden at the BASE of a 100 foot cliff.

I call it practice pitch, because this is an easy cliff and it has been the perfect place to practice different rope and climbing techniques.
