Geocache Description:

As with all of our caches there is NO BUSHWHACKING needed to find this cache. Please stay on established trails/paths.

Cook's Butte Park. This pristine natural area is the highest point in south Lake Oswego, with spectacular views of Mt. Hood and the Tualatin River Basin.

The cache is a plastic container (6x10x2) painted green. Please re-hide it as well as or better than you found it.

I understand there is a 'LetterBox' cache nearby so don't confuse that one with this one.

The difficulty of this cache is strictly up to you depending on your approach.

You can take the short, easy way with a rating of about 1/1.5 by parking at these coordinates...
N45 23.705 W122 41.979

This will make this a rather quick, straight forward cache.

-OR-

You can take the longer, more scenic way with a rating of about 1.5/2.5 by parking at these coordinates...
N45 23.457 W122 41.943 as this trail contains switchback tails leading to the top of the butte.

These coordinates will also lead you to within feet of the ATHERTON HEIGHTS cache. You may want to do both caches.

Either way have fun and we thank you for hunting our cache(s).
