Bobcat's foggy view.
While up on Russian Ridge, I noted that there did not appear to be any nearby caches. Seeing a bobcat and some bobwire in the same area, I figured this was as good a place as any for a new cache. It might even discourage the night searchers.
It appears that there are at least three ways to attack. I chose the shortest and so the terrain is just a 3, but if you walk the longer route you may think it more. I read off the altitude at 2487 feet.
The view of the fog covering the coast was spectacular.
There is a short trail/path leading up to the cache from a trail junction at N37 18.996, W 122 12.050, so no need to trample the hill. Cache is a quart-sized container a few feet off the trail.
Hope I didn't put the cache in the bobcat's home. Have your significant other reach in. And be careful of the barbed wire.
