The 3 caches in this series are:
Stage 1 - Park’s End (this one)
Stage 2 - Train’s End
Stage 3 - Trail’s End (Archived until new location found)
You must do them in the above order because the coordinates for
the next cache are located in the previous one.
These are all kid friendly and you can have fun with the kids at
each stop but especially the first two. Bring a camera (stage 2),
some food for the ducks and a fishing rod if you have some time
(stage 1).
The cache container for this stage is a camouflaged artillery
fuse container (about 2.5” diameter and 9” tall). When placed, this
cache contained: a GEO sticker, a battery powered fan (with
batteries), some state quarters (in a film canister) and, of
course, a few of those famous Bluto Fan wooden coins.
This is in a very open location so re-hide carefully. You can
get to the cache without removing any of the “cover” pieces. Just
reach in/down for it.
The coordinates for the second cache, Train’s End, are written
inside the cap of the container.
Be sure and do “Milling Around the Creek” in this same park. DO
NOT try to do this one from Glade road. You will get a ticket.
