Welcome to the Lobster Lounge, this cache is brimming with lobsters fresh from Maine, watch your fingers. There is also a camera, and a log with a lobster trap. Please leave the trap with the log to catch more lobsters. Take a lobster and leave something small if it fits or just a picture. Filling the cache too much makes it hard to open.
At the intersection of Route 1 and 109 in Wells head North only about 400 feet and take a right just past the fire station. This road leads to the park. Take your first right at the park and drive around the pavilion area and park near the trail head with messages posted. Follow this trail to the water and then your GPS. There is a little bushwhacking at the end stay toward the shore and it should be less.
The park is a nice place to stop for a picnic lunch or stop at one of the restaurants around. Walk down to the pier kids may be fishing or netting crabs there are also kayaks available to rent. There are free summer concerts every Saturday night from July to Labor Day.
