This cache in located off Hwy 40 East of Ocala, Florida. The reward is a traditional cache filled with all kinds of kid friendly items. The trail can be wet following rain, so be warned.
There are two approaches. The long way in is to park at the Ocala National Forest visitor's center and take the trail. If you do you will be able to catch another cache along the way. There is only one trail, so it's not hard to figure out. Round trip time will be under an hour.
The short route is to park at the boat basin. There is a trail past a gate to the North. If you go this way your round trip time should be less than 15 minutes.
There is free parking at either location. Beautiful scenery and wildlife await. Thanks, good luck, and enjoy...
