Geocache Description:

No water here, but there are port-o-potties along the first mile, so bring enough water for the hike. Dogs are okay on leash; don't forget their water!
NOTE: Remember the exact location of the cache & return it precisely. Oh, be discrete & eco-friendly.

Two Dams View - Blue Sky
This cache is located between the Lake Poway and Lake Ramona dams. You can't see both dams in the same view as with the Poway version of this cache since the Ramona dam lies northeast and the Poway dam lies southwest, but you can make out Lake Poway beyond its dam.

This is a moderate hike about five miles round trip. The first mile is a flat, shaded stroll which should pose little difficulty to most anyone. The next mile and a half (approximately) is uphill in full sun. You would do well to take suntan lotion, a hat, and plenty of water with you.

You'll be on a dirt road called Green Valley Truck Trail which leads all the way up to the Lake Ramona dam. After locating the cache, you can continue on up to the top of that dam and see the lake beyond. Parking for this cache can be found at

N 33° 00.971
W 117° 01.426
You will reach the starting coordinates about a mile in from the Blue Sky parking lot. Here you'll find an Outdoor Classroom composed of a number of picnic tables, one trash can, and one port-o-potty. I have never seen any students or teacher here. But, who knows? You may. A quick scan of the area and you'll be able to figure out the next waypoint.
A = the number of bright yellow posts here N 33° 01.27A
W 117° 00.03A
A little further up the trail, a sign at a fork in the trail not only specifies the trail leads north (to the left) but also urges that you have enough water to continue. Take heed of this warning. The upcoming waypoint is near a yellow exhaust thing. Use it to determine the cache coordinates.
ABC = the only 3-digit number on the yellow exhaust thing N 33° 01.28C
W 117° 00.0AC
The cache, which is a camouflaged ammo box about 12" x 4" x 7", is just a skip away. You won't even have to leave the trail. If you can't locate it within about 10 minutes or so, please refer to the clue.
