Wyndell's Waterwheel: Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Bad Dawg 83: Thanks for a good long run, all good thanks has to come an end. Making room for new development in the area, and maybe someone will put a new cache near-by.
The sad remains were removed today, with a short prayer.

Geocache Description:

Great festival area. Tons of history to see. Cacher safe!

Face it, nobody can resist civil war era structures. They are like a maganet for us cachers. This is a prime example.

Built in 1855 by slaves, the old Praters Mill still grinds and sells corn today. Take a tour if they are open and check it out. Everything inside is as it was back then.

There is an annual country fair in October and some great fishing places along the creek. Two hiking trails are located on the property and all is open year round for free. But closes at dark. Accuracy is only 35'to 49'. Even on a clear day. Please rehide the cache very well.

The first time I came here was with my uncle for an amatuer radio event. No longer with us, I named it for him. He enjoyed the place and the people.

As of January 1st 2009, all of my caches will be exempt from logging for challenges, games, series or other bookmarked nonsense dragging down the sport. I will delete any finds associated with this.
