Geocache Description:

This is a simple, 3-part, easy-to-walk multi in a small park around the Fountain Valley Library. The first waypoint is a piece of a major historical event in our very recent past. The second waypoint gives you a peek into bygone days. The third, of course, is the cache.

At the above coordinates you will find a memorial with two plaques. Pause, reflect and then... To find the second waypoint, subtract the number of the Boy Scout Troop that placed this memorial in 2002 from the last three numbers of W117*57.417. (Use your math know-how to make the result 3 digits.) The North coordinate is N33*42.413. There's nothing tricky about this cache. It's just a way for you to come and see this powerful piece of metal without making it a virtual.

Since this cache was placed a wonderful POW/MIA memorial has been erected nearby.
