Located on an island so you will need a boat! The hike is easy over established trails.
When we got the chance of a lifetime to spend 8 days on a boat cruising Australia’s Whitsunday Islands we couldn’t pass up the opportunity to go GeoCaching on another continent, but Australia is a big place, and it turned out there where no caches in the area. Well I sure didn’t want anyone else to suffer my disappointment so before leaving the US I carefully assembled two GeoCaches to be placed in the Whitsunday Islands. Nara View is the first of these two caches.
This traditional cache is located in the rocks above Nara inlet. The view from here is fantastic. While you’re in the area visit the nearby aboriginal cave, then proceed on already established side trails to this cache. Lots of people visit this area so please take care to leave no trace of your visit. To prevent looting the cache is well hidden, but experienced GeoCachers should have no trouble finding it. I won’t be able to visit this cache often so please take good care of it.
