Geocache Description:

This event is being held in cooperation with the Susquehannock district office of the Pennsylvania DCNR. This event is also being sponsored by the Keystone Cachers. All folks are welcome and encouraged to attend.

The Susquehannock district office was contacted to see if they could suggest a location that would be benefitted by a CITO (Cache In-Trash Out) event. They responded with the site located at the above coordinates. The area is an old dump site from when the property was a farm. With the help of some cachers, this site could easily be completely cleaned and returned to its natural condition.

We will be meeting at 10:00am, Saturday, April 17th. Upon completion of the clean-up, we will have a covered dish picnic at the nearby Cherry Springs park in one of the pavilions. We will also be placing a permanent (physical) cache in the general vacinity of the clean-up site.
