Okay fellow Geocachers, listen up. The weekend of April 17 & 18th has been designated for a National Cache In/Trash Out event. What better way to celebrate than to gather in our favorite park or recreation area and dedicate the day to cleaning up the area? We, along with the local parks department have decided that Buffalo Run Park, in Missouri City, really could use our help. This is an awesome park with 5 lakes so bring your fishing pole too.We plan on being at the above cordinates around 9:00 am, so come early and stay late. There will still be plenty to do for those that plan to come after Church. You do not need to dedicate the full day, any time you can share will be appreciated. It's amazing what we can accomplish in an hour or two.Let's Go...Cache In/Trash Out!There are 7 caches that have been placed in this park and another very close bye. For those of you who haven't already found them, this will be a target rich opportunity while you help clean up.Snoogans will give the correct coords to many of his puzzle caches for those who don't have the patience or inclination to solve them. Maybe MedTexPlacer will give a class on how to solve Another Dark Side of Da MQQN, the NEW, 7th cache, in the park....???I DID NOT GET THE CORPORATE FUNDING I WAS SEEKING. SO THIS EVENT IS A B.Y.O. POTLUCK AFFAIRE.BRING: A dish, or a picnic lunch, something to drink, A hat, gloves, something to sit on, a fishing pole (optional), there is very little shade, so anyone with camp awnings, or beach umbrellas should bring them. Anyone with a long handled net should bring that for cleaning the shoreline areas. There will also be Memorial to the D.B. Cooper Jr. Cache at this event. Sam and Frances will bring pictures and flowers.
