Just below the South peak, 8195 feet. 2WD will get you to the top AFTER the snow melts. Needed 4X4 when placing.
Peavine has two 8260 foot peaks. MANY ways to get to them. Large maintenance road starts off N. Virginia @ N39 37.169 W119 53.490 and is the most direct 2WD route. There was a snowfield over 100 yards along the road near the top when placed. Due to the crowds we placed the cache off the summit.
