Schoen me your Laufen
"Schoen Laufen" loosely translates
into "runs beautifully". They must have been talking about the
Menomonee River which borders this park on the West side when they named this
park...
In order to find this cache,
please park at:
N 43° 12.848
W088° 08.337
After parking is taken care of,
follow a gravel path along the river. When you reach the northernmost
point on this trail, you are close. The last 50yds. or so, you'll have to
bushwack a bit and can be a bit wet/tricky to navigate.
After finding the cache, make
sure to take the trail back through the woods!! There are more trail info
posts and can be quite informative to the amateur outdoors person...
Even though the final container
is a Surplus Decon Box (kinda small for trade items), it's still a good cache
for the little ones to "run the show"!!
Restrooms are available (in
season), and the majority of the trail is easily walked by most
everyone...
