Geocache Description:

Explore the Traverse Community Model Solar System by bike or by car.

As of spring 2008, at least 3 of the plaques are unreadable. Look up the clues on line.

The above coordinates are for the Sun in the Traverse Community model Solar System. The inner planets are visible from here. The outer planets are along the TART trail from here to Acme. It is a pleasant and interesting bike ride or you can get near each stop by car. At each of the coordinates listed below, in close proximity to a model planet, a single numeral is taped, stamped or painted.

The tags are NOT on the planet. The tags ARE at the listed coordinates.

Visit all of the planets and find the number assigned to each. Use the clues below to determine the planet and then use the numbers found by the planet model to fill in the blanks and determine the coordinates of the cache. At times you can park close to the cache, at other times the gate is closed and you will have to hike. The cache is placed with permission and while seeking it you are considered to be a patron. The cache is an ammo can with a log book and an assortment of goodies relating to the solar system and space exploration.
