Geocache Description:

The cache is at the top of Breiden Hill its easy to find when you get there but a long steep walk up to it. The view from the top is breathtaking.

To get to the cache the best way is to park in the car park at SJ 2945 1499 and follow the forest tracks that wind up and around the hill until you are to the south of the hill. The last few hundred meters are very steep but the views from the top make the trip worthwhile. Allow at least an hour to walk up and I suggest you take a detailed map and compass with you. There are paths that appear to short cut the track but they are all steeper, wet and muddy all year round. The cache is a small tobacco tin full of treasure. It will only take small items so I have made them a bit special. It started out with:A neolithic flint arrowhead A neolithic flint scraperA fossilised sharks toothA fossilised shellA Saudi 1 Riyal coin2 desert diamonds - this is a type of very hard quartz found - as with the above- in the deserts of Saudi arabia4 small silver charms from Dubaiand from the UK:A national bus tokenA 1907 and 1905 penniesA copy of a viking coin from the Jorvik centre in YorkTo find out why I called the cache White Admiral read the plaque on the pillar.
