Geocache Description:

This cache is located in Magnolia Bluff County Park in the north-west corner of Rock County. You are looking for a 7" round X 3" deep plastic container painted OD. The cache is very close to the trail, so there is NO need to bushwack.

Let the game begin - Capture the Flag! This is a fun game between the cachers of Northern Illinois and Southern Wisconsin. I have hidden a flag at the above coordinates and it is the mission of the Illinois cachers to capture it and hide it in a new cache the finder creates in Winnebago County. All hides in Wisconsin must be in Rock County. These two adjoining counties should be the perfect place to play out this game.Once hidden in Winnebago, those from the north will track it down and bring it back to Rock and the game continues. For further information see Capture the Flag by wzbt03. (GCHW83)

I have given this cache a three for terrain difficulty due to the elevation changes and condition of the trail I took to hide the cache, although there could be a trail that is not as difficult.

This is the first cache I have placed, so if you have any advice please put it in your logs.

Park Info (Taken from back of the trail map):This 120-acre park features beautiful rock outcroppings and vistas. Because this park has steep areas and rock outcroppings all park visitors must use caution.Magnolia Bluff has the only naturally occurring stand of white birch in the county, due to the “micro” climate created on its north face; so between the north and south faces a broad and interesting diversity of plant life is found. This provides a home for a diverse number of birds and mammals that call the park home or stop over on a seasonal basis. Two trails are featured: one a bridle and nature trail; the other a cross-country ski and hiking trail. Both trails have an individual distance of just less than three miles (4.83km).
