Geocache Description:


Ready for a log-only bibliophilic mystery? Head for the above listed coordinates, where you’ll find an illuminating object. If faithfully followed, the information gleaned from this object will lead you – quite literally – within an inch or two of the nearby log. How’s that for accuracy?

After locating this initial information, save some battery life by powering down your GPSr; satellite reception will soon become problematic. From here on out you’ll follow a code of a different stripe (and one lacking latitude and longitude).

You can search for the initial object at any hour, day or night. In fact, this is probably the safest night caching opportunity in town, as Beaumont’s Finest burn the midnight oil just across the street. The catch? To reach the log itself you’ll need to observe the following schedule: Monday – Thursday: 9 am to 8 pm; Friday 9 am to 6 pm; closed Saturday and Sunday. Sorry, Weekend Warriors.

If you’re still not sure how to proceed, you must not be reading the signs. And once you’re headed in the right direction you can always seek help from one of the pleasant caretakers. Just show them a copy of the information you’ve uncovered; they’ll lead you right to the spot. They can even provide you with a writing implement if you’ve forgotten yours. Don’t you wish all caches were so simple?
