This is a multi-part ammo box cache dedicated to all things that emit photons. In the cache will be chemical light sticks, LED lights, glow-in-the-dark items, etc. Please trade like items. The first stage is to locate the starting point. Parking is available. The second stage will require some math and/or research skills in order to locate the third and final stage.Beginning at N40° 01.698 W083° 01.364 (a manhole riser), proceed on a bearing of 214° T for 500’ until you find a memorial plaque. There are obstacles that will impede a straight-line path to the plaque, so you’ll have to navigate around these minor inconveniences ;)
On the plaque are two years. From the first year, subtract the 99th prime number. From the second year, subtract the 123rd prime number. (Assume 2 as the first prime.) Take those results and divide each number by 1000. This will be the minute portion of the coordinates for the actual cache. The degree portion remains unchanged from the original coordinates.
N40° (first year – 99th prime) / 1000 = mm.ddd
W083° (second year – 123rd prime) / 1000 = mm.ddd
There will be a lot of people about when the weather is nice, so stealth may be necessary. The trees at stage three will degrade the signal to your GPSr.
