The mystery of the devil’s corner at Roeselare.De naam duivelshoek komt van een volkssage die verwijst naar dwaallichtjes die in deze omgeving zouden gezien zijn. De dwaallichtjes waren zielen van ongedoopte of doodgeboren kinderen. Ze lokken mensen naar het water.Parkeer uw wagen op de volgende coördinaten: N50°55.642’ – E003°06.332’U bevindt zich aan het begin van een oude spoorwegbedding.U hoeft hier geen rekening te houden met de openingsuren om de cache te gaan zoeken.De wandeling bedraagt om en bij de 4 km.Op het bord met wandelroute vindt u het nummer van de ring rond Roeselare. Tel de cijfers op en je bekomt getal A.Het aantal betonpaaltjes min het laatste getal van de ring rond Roeselare vormt getal B.Vertrek in SW- richting.Tel op het einde van het pad aan de overkant van de betonnen weg het aantal verticaal staande dwarsliggers = CSla linksaf en neem het eerste straatje in NE- richting. Tel het aantal vlaggen aan de herberg aan de straatzijde = DAan het kruispunt ga je op zoek naar een elektriciteitskast die bevestigd is aan een betonnen paal. Het 2de getal van het telefoonnummer op de kast = EMaak de som van de eerste 5 cijfers van het telefoonnummer en tel daarbij het resultaat van de vermenigvuldiging van het getal dat bestaat uit de laatste 3 cijfers van het telefoonnummer en 4. Tel bij dit getal het nummer van de electriciteitskast (vage cijfers)+ 1. = F G H IDe cache bevindt zich op WP: N50°AB.CDE – E003°0F.GHIBijkomende hint:Welkom in het huis van de rat.The mystery of the devil’s cornerPark your car at the following coordinates: N50°55.642’-E003°06.332You are now at the beginning of an old railway bed. There’s no need to ensure of the opening hours. The walk is 4 kilometres long.You will see a plate of the walk route. On that plate you’ll find the number of the ring around Roeselare. Add those numbers up and you will become digit A.If you count the concrete piles and subtract this by the last digit of the ring around Roeselare you’ll get digit B.Take a walk in SW-direction.Count at the end of the path at the other side of the road the vertical standing sleepers = digit C.Go to the left and take the first street to the NE. Count the flags on the street side standing in front of a tavern = D.On the crossroads, search for an electric case which is attached to a concrete pillar. The second digit of the phone number on the case =E.Add the first five numbers of the phone number up. This result must be added by the result that you become by multiplying the last three digits of the phone number by 4.
